In
1997, he started his education at Mimar Sinan University
- State Conservatory, Department of Opera and Vocal
Training, with Soprano Sema Tüzün.
Between 1998-2003, while he was working as a contracted
performer on State Opera and Ballet, he played on children's
musicals "Cinderella", "Storyteller"
and "Sleeping Beauty". He was a chorister
on G. Verdi's "La Traviata", and W. A. Mozart's
"Don Giovanni" operas. He acted as "Amelia's
Butler" on G. Verdi's "Masquerade" and
as "Parpignol" on G. Puccini's "La Boheme".
He sang the tenor part on L. Bernstein's "Trouble
in Tahiti".
In November, 2002, he performed on "Turkish Composers
Concert", organized by ECUME (Echanges Cultures
en Mediterranee) in Tunisia. He acted as "Tamino"
(2002) on W. A. Mozart's "The Magic Flute"
opera, and as "Don Basilio" (2003) on "The
Marriage of Figaro" opera, which both were conservatory
productions directed by Assoc. Yekta Kara on Atatürk
Cultural Center. Under Prof. Babür Tongur's conductorship,
he sang solo tenor part of L. van Beethoven's "Symphony
No. 9" (2003).
In 2003, he was the runner up on "SIEMENS Opera
Contest" and thanks to the scholarship he was granted,
he found the chance to work with Prof. Patricia WISE,
Prof. Lilian SUKIS and Prof. Richard MILLER in "Mozarteum
International Summer School". On September, 2003,
he was accepted to "Mozarteum University"
as a postgraduate student and studied with Prof. Lilian
SUKIS.
In 2006, at "Mozart Year", he performed "Pedrillo"
in W.A. Mozart's "The Abduction from the Seraglio"
opera, performed by Vienna Schauspielhaus in Vienna,
Luxembourg, Antwerp and Mannheim.
Erdogan was accepted to University of Music and Performing
Arts in Vienna in 2006 and continued his postgraduate
studies with Prof. Ralf DÖRİNG.
In 2007, he joined Izmir State Opera and Ballet, as
a soloist. His performances included "Belmonte"
in W.A. Mozart's "The Abduction from the Seraglio",
"Tassilo" in E. Kalman's "Countess Mariza"
operetta and "Romeo" in C.Gounod's "Romeo
and Juliet" opera.
In 2008, he was the winner of "1st National Young
Soloists Contest" and had a chance to perform at
the Opening Concert of Aspendos International Opera
Festival.
