Sing Along Turkey
The Sing-Along Concert comes to Turkey (19th June
2010)
The idea started in 2007 when Żlker Ersil of Vokaliz
Management & Orfeon Chamber Choir asked help from
Hans Rehberg of Rundfunkchor Berlin to organize a very
big choral project in Turkey.
The project developed under the shine of Sing-Along
concerts of Rundfunkchor Berlin, which is one of the
greatest success stories of choral singing. The concept
which was started by chief conductor Simon Halsey &
Rundfunkchor Berlin in 2003 with 200 people and now
brings together 1500 amateur singers and gives them
the opportunity to work closely with professionals.
As Aspendos International Opera and Ballet Festival
also showed its faith to this idea, Vokaliz Management
and Rundfunkchor is very happy to realize Turkey's biggest
international choral project ever at June 19th, 2010
as a main event of the festival.
Sing Along Concert in Aspendos aims to bring people
from different nationalities and cultures together through
singing. And without any doubt, just the idea of being
a part of this concert under the baton of charismatic
Simon Halsey and the world wide known multiple grammy
awarded Rundfunkchor Berlin, attracts not only the amateur
singers ,but also the conductors attention from all
over the world to this special event.
As well as the concert, conductors and individual singers
will have the chance to make workshops with Simon Halsey
and the choirs will find opportunities to perform their
own repertoire at mediterranean's most beautiful riveria
Antalya.
